FlexiGroBots project was officially launched on January 28th during a 1-day meeting gathering all the partners involved in the development of a platform for flexible heterogeneous multi-robot systems for intelligent automation of precision agriculture operations, as well as other relevant activities aiming to validate the technologies and solutions developed, raise awareness about the project and define a clear roadmap for the potential commercialisation of FlexiGroBots platform and its components.

The meeting started with a presentation of the vision and objectives by the Project Coordinator, Daniel Calvo Alonso, Head of the AI, Data & Robotics Unit at the R&D Hub in Atos. After this, each of the 16 partners involved in FlexiGroBots made a presentation about their organisation, capabilities, experience and role within the project.

The other sessions focused on the presentation of objectives, plans and next steps of the 7 Work Packages defined for the implementation of the project work plan:
