The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), a member of the FlexiGroBots partners consortium, participated in the Fruit Attraction fair that took place from October 4 to 6, 2022, in Madrid, Spain. They presented the FlexiGroBots project and the latest developments in collaboration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in early pest detection and precision treatment, as well as a prototype robot for assisting in manual harvesting. The prototype of a manual harvesting assistance robot collaborates with an operator by following him during harvesting and autonomously transporting the box in which the operator places the harvested product.

Fruit Attraction is a meeting point for fruit and vegetable professionals from all over the world it has become the commercial tool of reference for the worldwide marketing of fruit and vegetables. Also, this fair represents a space for the exchange of knowledge about the latest developments in the sector such as different innovations, products and varieties.
